Each spring, we celebrate the life-changing work of our local and global outreach partners and ask you to consider a Faith Missions Giving commitment for the coming year. This year, through this interactive online experience and various virtual events, we have opportunities to hear from our outreach partners about the ways they see God at work, the challenges they have been facing during the pandemic, and how we might be involved.

Our local and global partners are the hands and feet of Christ sheltering and feeding the poor, providing education and intervention for at-risk children, youth and adults, training Christian leaders in the developing world, and sharing the good news of God’s love.

Our call as disciples is to “go”—to shine Christ’s light through serving so that others “may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” (Mt 5:16) Each year, many in our congregation serve through one-time or on-going service opportunities. Last year, “going” included:

Tutoring/reading/homework help with children through Harambee and Stars.

Tutoring/reading/homework help with children through Harambee and Stars.

Hosting in-person and virtual Baby Showers for pregnant moms at Elizabeth House.

A Christmas toy drive for FosterAll’s Christmas Drive-thru event for foster children.

Faith Missions giving is designated giving above and beyond the general offering.

When you designate a financial gift to LCPC for “Faith Missions,” 100% of your gift goes directly to local and global outreach partners.

Last year, through the generosity of our congregation, we sent more than $200,000 to our local and global outreach partners in “Faith Missions” grants ranging from $500 to $13,000. About 70% goes to our Global Partners and  30%  to our Local Partners
